Find your drive

Start with the space you have

Choose luggage that fits the car and the number of passengers. Soft-sided bags can be easier to arrange in a smaller boot than several rigid cases.

Keep the rear window clear and secure loose items. A tidy cabin is more comfortable and makes it easier to find what you need.

Keep the useful things close

Water, charging cables, sunglasses, and a light layer belong within easy reach. Store documents somewhere accessible when parked, but out of sight when you leave the vehicle.

Download your route and important booking details before departure. Mobile reception is not something to depend on in every scenic place.

A small kit for a smoother day

A reusable bottle, a compact umbrella, and a cloth for sunglasses can earn their place quickly. Pack for the actual weather forecast rather than every possible scenario.

If traveling with children, plan a few familiar comforts and confirm the correct child seat before pickup.

Leave room for the return

Trips have a way of producing a little extra luggage. Start with some space to spare and you will not be reorganizing the entire boot on the final morning.

The best packing list is the one that lets you stop thinking about packing. Bring what helps you enjoy the journey and leave the rest behind.
